HR Administrator Job PurposeThe HR Administrator will support the HR department in day-to-day operations, assist with the administration of the HR policies, procedures, and programs, and contribute to the development of HR initiatives and systems.
HR Administrator Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support for various HR functions including recruitment, payroll processing, and employee benefits.
- Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data, etc.) according to policy and legal requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and systems.
- Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.
- Redirect HR-related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team.
- Assist with payroll and ad-hoc HR projects.
- Support the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, issuing employment contracts, etc.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant, or relevant role.
- Experience with HR software, like HRIS or HRMS.
- Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular).
- Thorough knowledge of labor laws.
- Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects.
- Strong phone, email, and in-person communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of payroll practices.
