Our client, a leading manufacturer, is currently seeking a HR Manager to join their team.
Reporting into the board, this is a standalone HR Manager role with responsibility for dealing with all operational HR matters and providing HR support.
Responsibilities
- Be the first point of call for employees, providing them with training and development information, career opportunities and employee wellbeing
- Develop, implement and update HR policies and procedures
- Manage the recruitment process including, liaising with departments to develop job descriptions, supporting the interview process and inducting new employees
- Foster a positive culture and address employee concerns in a timely manner
- Oversee performance management processes, providing guidance to managers and employee
- Ensure compliance with Employment Laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR best practice
Your skills:
- HR Professional & CIPD qualified
- Minimum 5 years generalist HR experience
- Experience of working as a standalone HR professional
- Experience of using HR systems
- Strong focus on solutions and "can do" attitude / approach
- Good working knowledge of current employment law
