Senior HR Advisor
Position Overview
The Senior HR Advisor serves as a key partner to management and staff, ensuring HR practices align with organisational objectives. This role is focused on delivering an excellent employee experience, maintaining compliance with UK employment law, and supporting overall organisational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with leadership to align HR strategies with business needs.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to guide decision-making.
- Advise managers on HR matters, acting as a trusted consultant.
- Handle complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary and grievance processes, ensuring full compliance with UK employment law.
- Conduct detailed investigations and provide expert advice to resolve workplace issues.
- Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practice.
- Deliver training for managers on UK employment law and HR-related topics.
- Support workforce planning, including talent acquisition and succession planning.
- Encourage a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Assist with organisational change initiatives, including restructures.
- Analyse HR data to identify trends and recommend proactive measures.
- Lead recruitment initiatives and wellbeing campaigns.
- Manage and deliver HR projects.
Qualifications and Skills
- CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualification.
- Significant experience in a similar HR role, with a strong focus on employee relations.
- Familiarity with HR systems, particularly Workday HRIS.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practices.
