Role Overview: As an IT Project Manager, you will manage technology projects from start to finish, ensuring goals, timelines, resources, and budgets are met. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver successful projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, lead the team, and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Resolve conflicts, ensure team alignment, and conduct regular progress meetings.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Budget & Resource Management: Monitor budgets and allocate resources efficiently.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary contact for stakeholders and provide regular updates.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and conduct post-project reviews.
- Technical Oversight: Collaborate with IT professionals to align deliverables with technical requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager in software development, infrastructure, or enterprise-level projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
- Prince 2 / PMP certification is a plus.
- Flexibility to move between business sites as needed.
