Senior QA Engineer - Kent 

VIQU have partnered with a leading organisation who are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join a new Quality Assurance team that they have beendeveloping. Please note that this is NOT a software QA role!

The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for implementing best practices for quality assurance, asset tracking, and analysis, ensuring that testing processes and functioning procedures enhance operational efficiency. The Senior QA Engineer will also manage testing ensuring it aligns with established timelines. 

Key Responsibilities of the Senior QA Engineer:

  • Proactively introduce new methodologies and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Track multiple assets/resources accuratley. 
  • Design and implement a test strategies.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and manage multiple test plans to meet objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure accurate supplier testing and technical documentation.
  • Flexibly manage testing across multiple projects and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Generate issue reports and recommend QA improvements for E&T leadership.

Required Experience of the Senior QA Engineer:

  • 3+ years' experience within Quality Assurance roles.
  • Proven asset tracking management experience.
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
  • QA certification (e.g., Six Sigma, CQE).
  • Expertise in testing techniques and test-driven development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
  • Skilled in root cause analysis and recommending solutions.
