IT Support Analyst - Kent

Overview:

DCS Tech are working in partnership with our housing sector client to find a motivated and conscientous IT Support Analyst to join successful TechOps team. After a successful period of growth, an extra set hands are required to maintain SLA levels and deliver great service!

About the Role:

As an IT Support Analyst, you will play a key role in providing technical assistance and support for your colleagues and internal systems. You will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring optimal system performance.

What will you get up to?

  • Provide first-line technical support to users by resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Respond to support tickets and service requests in a timely manner.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Assist in troubleshooting software applications, operating systems, and network connectivity.
  • Support and maintain active directory, file servers, and other system administration tasks.
  • Perform routine maintenance, updates, and backups to ensure system reliability.
  • Assist in the deployment of software and hardware upgrades.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement and improve internal IT processes.
  • Maintain documentation of support cases, system configurations, and processes.

What will you bring?

  • Proven experience in an IT support role or similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS, network protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and remote desktop support.
  • Familiarity with hardware setup and configuration (PCs, printers, networking devices).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a customer-focused attitude.
  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Specialist (MCITP), or equivalent is a plus.
