A fast-growing IT services provider is seeking a Junior IT Technician to support multiple schools across Kent, Surrey, and South London. In this role, you will be the go-to problem-solver for teachers and students, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime in a dynamic learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- 1st & 2nd Line Support
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to keep classrooms running.
- Windows AD & Azure AD
- Manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and domain infrastructures.
- Device & MDM Management
- Configure iPads, oversee Google Workspace, and work with MDM solutions.
- MIS Support
- Provide assistance with Management Information Systems such as SIMS, Arbor, or Scholarpack.
- System Deployment & Maintenance
- Build images, install software, and handle upgrades across multiple sites.
- Inventory Management
- Keep accurate records of hardware, software, and licenses.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of IT support experience
- Experience in a school or educational environment
- Full UK Driving Licence + Car (travel required)
- Eligibility to Work in the UK
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Windows AD and Azure AD
- Familiarity with MDM systems, iPads, and Google Workspace
- Working knowledge of MIS systems (e.g., SIMS, Arbor, Scholarpack)
