Kingdom People Kent is thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity. We are seeking Line Leaders to join our clients dynamic team at their site on the outskirts of Maidstone, Kent. This role is perfect for individuals who display adaptability and strong leadership skills, as it demands flexibility in working hours, including weekends and the potential for longer shifts to meet business needs. With a competitive pay rate of £13.65 per hour and an overtime rate of £20.50 for hours exceeding 40 hours a week, this is an exciting opportunity for those looking to grow within a reputable and innovative company. Due to the remote location, the successful candidate would ideally need to have their own transportation.

  • Ensure efficient packing of products while adhering to customer specifications within a safe environment.
  • Manage Line Support Operatives (LSO) and train employees to guarantee quality standards and health & safety compliance.
  • Liaise with the Quality Assurance team to monitor and resolve potential raw material quality issues.
  • Challenging and improving KPIs while ensuring optimal utilisation of raw materials during the packing process.
  • Perform data entry in the PR3 system accurately and maintain compliance with all relevant procedures and standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement through effective communication and collaboration with team members and management.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the work area according to company policies.
  • Ensure all packing lines meet target efficiency levels and that team members achieve performance benchmarks.
  • Foster a supportive and motivating environment by encouraging and guiding team members.
  • Proactively manage operational health and safety and report any issues to the Production Management Team.
  • A strong understanding of health & safety and hygiene standards within a production environment.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication skills to ensure clear dissemination of information to team members.
  • Experience in production line management or a related role is highly desirable.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on efficiency and quality.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering results that meet customer specifications.
