- Gain hands-on experience in legal cashiering, working closely with a supportive team of three experienced professionals.
- Receive full training to develop your skills and knowledge in managing client accounts and financial transactions within a legal environment.
- Perform key legal cashiering duties, including:
- Processing client and office account transactions.
- Assisting with the reconciliation of client and office accounts.
- Ensuring compliance with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules.
- Managing payments, receipts, and transfers in line with strict procedural guidelines.
- Maintaining accurate records and handling financial queries.
- Supporting the team with month-end and year-end processes.
- A strong interest in accountancy or legal cashiering.
- Educational background or qualifications in relevant areas (e.g., numerical A-Levels, a degree in accountancy or similar field, or relevant course such as bookkeeping/AAT, etc.).
- A proactive and keen-to-learn attitude.
- The ability to work full-time in the office in Maidstone, Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm.
