Quality Assurance/Engineering Storeman

Are you an experienced Engineering Storeman with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail?

Pearson Whiffin Recruitment is seeking a motivated and organised individual to join a dynamic manufacturing team, supporting warehouse, production and quality assurance functions.

Key Duties:

  • Operating the forklift to load and unload vehicles safely.
  • Performing goods receipt tasks, including booking in, checking quantities, labelling, and storing goods correctly.
  • Conducting accurate daily and weekly stock duties, including cycle counts, and place orders for materials and tools.
  • Supplying necessary parts and materials to the production floor.
  • Arranging transportation and deliveries efficiently.
  • Following health and safety protocols and complete quality checks in line with procedures.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in all work areas.
  • All associated administration and documentation with a meticulous attention to detail

To be considered for this Engineering Storeman role you will have:

  • Experience in a similar Storeman or quality assurance role, within manufacturing or engineering
  • A good level of technical understanding of production processes and materials, with the ability to support quality checks and control stock in line with production requirements.
  • A good level of computer literacy with experience in managing inventory records accurately.
  • A strong attention to detail, commitment to health and safety, and familiarity with PPE requirements.
  • A good level of physical fitness
  • Experience operating a forklift truck, ideally with an in-date licence (not essential)
  • A solid working history with a clear track record of reliability and commitment
