This role is varied and works closely alongside the rest of the team, you will have the opportunity to travel with the role if desired in order to attend events both in the UK and abroad too.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Collating industry news/ stories
  • Interviewing industry specialists
  • Writing features
  • Edit and proofread written content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and punctuation
  • Fact check information to ensure accuracy and credibility
  • Collaborate with writers and other team members to ensure content meets editorial standards
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the overall quality of content
  • Ensure adherence to style guides and brand guidelines
  • Copywrite and create engaging and compelling content
  • Conduct research to gather information for content creation
  • Review and revise proposals, reports, and other written materials

Due to the nature of the role, our client is keen to find an experienced candidate within the B2B editing space, whether this be similar to your current role or if you are looking to progress from an editorial assistant role, this could be for you!

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an editor or similar role
  • Strong command of the English language with excellent writing and editing skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with writers and team members
  • Familiarity with different writing styles and ability to adapt to various tones and voices
