Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a passionate and driven Editorial Assistant to join their dynamic team in Maidstone. This is an incredible chance to work alongside a senior editor, gaining hands-on experience and increasing responsibility in a fast-paced, vibrant environment.
You’ll be responsible for content creation, managing editorial schedules, sourcing stories, updating the website and social media, writing features, and engaging with clients via phone and email. As part of the role, you’ll represent the brand at industry events and help drive growth across digital platforms.
You’ll also manage a designated media platform, overseeing newsletters and social media content. Full training and support will be provided to help you develop the skills needed for the role.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: Previous junior editorial or journalism experience is a must.
- Skills: Strong writing, grammar, proofreading, and social media knowledge.
- Attributes: Eager to grow your career and take on new challenges.
