Legal Secretary/Administrator  Location: MaidstoneSalary: CompetitiveHours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pmBenefits: Pension and Private Healthcare (available after probation period) & Free Parking  A well regarded legal firm is actively seeking a Legal Secretary/Administrator to join their friendly and supportive team in Maidstone. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a welcoming, close-knit office where teamwork is key. They strongly believe in an open-door policy, and everyone helps out to ensure smooth daily operations.  They are looking for someone to assist primarily with Private Client work, though there may also be some Residential Property tasks involved.  Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with clients warmly as the first point of contact—whether it's managing phone calls, welcoming them at reception, or greeting them in the office for meetings.
  • Showcase your typing and dictation skills, supporting our legal team by transforming audio dictation into high-quality documents with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Be the friendly face that clients see, guiding them through the office and ensuring they feel comfortable and welcomed.
  • Take initiative in handling a variety of administrative tasks—from managing the front desk to assisting with day-to-day office operations, no two days will be the same.
  • Get involved in all aspects of office life, offering a helping hand wherever needed. This is a role for someone who enjoys being hands-on, problem-solving, and working closely with others to keep everything running smoothly.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Approachable, with excellent communication skills
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
  • Previous experience with Private Client or Residential Property work is desirable
  • Audio dictation experience is an advantage, but they welcome applications from graduates with some audio experience
  • A proactive and can-do attitude, willing to take on various tasks
