Paralegal

£30,000 + bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting legal documents, contracts, letters, and reports
- Conducting legal research to support case preparation
- Managing case files and ensuring all documentation is up to date and accurate
- Assisting solicitors with casework, including preparing bundles for court
- Liaising with clients, courts, and third parties on behalf of fee earners
- Attending meetings with clients and taking minutes or notes
- Filing applications with courts or government agencies
- Reviewing and summarising legal documents and evidence
- Monitoring deadlines and ensuring compliance with legal procedures
- Supporting fee earners with administrative and procedural tasks
Desired Skills
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn
- Previous experience in a legal environment or specific legal area (e.g. family law, conveyancing, litigation)
- A recognised legal qualification such as a Law degree, LPC, or CILEX certification (desirable but not essential)
