Graduate Sales Engineer

Sales Engineer required for a manufacturer based in Maidstone, Kent. The successful candidate will either be an experienced sales engineer within manufacturing / engineering or a Mechanical Engineering Graduate who is keen for a sales role within engineering. This would be an excellent opportunity to learn of senior members of the team. The role will involve travel 2-4 times a year to the Middle East (1 week at a time). This is for a financially secure international company who are looking for this position due to expansion. The role will be internally based with travel only being abroad.

• Maintaining and growing key accounts and distributors.
• Following up leads generated by the company's marketing activities and prospecting for new business, especially on core products.
• Providing in-depth technical support to identify and solve customer problems using products/services.
• Present the company professionally to maintain market leading image & reputation.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering would be advantageous
• Experience within a sales role in an engineering environment would be advantageous
• Ideally the candidate would have some experience in the industrial abrasives & machinery.

• Salary will be dependent on experience but likely 30k-40k
• Yearly bonus
• Company pension
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays (Rising with service up to 25)
• 08:30-17:00 Monday-Friday
