Junior Design Engineer required for our client, a well-established mechanical and electrical contractor, established in 2015. They are now looking for a Junior / Graduate M&E Design Engineer to join their team, based in Kent.
This is an office-based role, so being in a commutable distance to the office is a necessity.
Junior Design Engineer Salary & Benefits
- £24,000 - £26,000 DOE
- 20 days + 8BH (+ 1 extra day each year up until five years)
- Monday - Friday (45 hours - 8am-5pm)

Junior Design Engineer Job Overview
You will be required to be involved with liaising with our design specialists and carry out tasks such as general mechanical engineering tasks and checks, drawing updates, issuing technical submittals, attending design meetings. The type of projects you'll work on will be new builds, refurbishments, fit outs and commercial projects.

Junior Design Engineer Job Requirements
- Excellent IT skills
- Mechanical Engineering experience/knowledge
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Working towards or looking to obtain a HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Relevant internships or work experience in the field
