Blueprint Recruitment are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join reputable consultancy on a long-term contract basis in Kent. This is a brilliant opportunity to work on a variety of high-end residential projects, including heritage and listed buildings. You will be responsible for delivering detailed designs and managing multiple projects simultaneously at RIBA Stages 2-4. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver mechanical designs at RIBA Stages 2-4, ensuring quality and precision.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards.
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of designs.
- Provide technical input and solutions for high-end residential, heritage, and listed building projects.
- Attend site visits as required to oversee implementation and address technical queries.
Requirements
- Proven experience in mechanical design engineering within the building services sector.
- Strong knowledge of high-end residential, heritage, and listed building projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
- Available to start in March 2025.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work in the office 2-3 days a week, with the remainder from home.
