Blueprint Recruitment are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join reputable consultancy on a long-term contract basis in Kent. This is a brilliant opportunity to work on a variety of high-end residential projects, including heritage and listed buildings. You will be responsible for delivering detailed designs and managing multiple projects simultaneously at RIBA Stages 2-4. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver mechanical designs at RIBA Stages 2-4, ensuring quality and precision.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of designs.
  • Provide technical input and solutions for high-end residential, heritage, and listed building projects.
  • Attend site visits as required to oversee implementation and address technical queries.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in mechanical design engineering within the building services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of high-end residential, heritage, and listed building projects.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
  • Available to start in March 2025.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under tight deadlines.
