Are you an experienced Mechanical Supervisor or Project Engineer looking for a new challenge in the water industry? We are currently working on behalf of a long-standing client,seeking a highly skilled professional to join their team, working on a key framework with South East Water.

Position: Mechanical Supervisor / Project Engineer
Location: South East England

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage mechanical engineering projects, ensuring that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including design, procurement, and construction, to deliver projects to the highest standards.
  • Supervise and mentor site teams, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality assurance processes.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring satisfaction throughout project life-cycles.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Manage resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, particularly within the water or utilities sector.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, with hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
