Position: Mechanical Supervisor / Project Engineer
Location: South East England
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage mechanical engineering projects, ensuring that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including design, procurement, and construction, to deliver projects to the highest standards.
- Supervise and mentor site teams, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality assurance processes.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring satisfaction throughout project life-cycles.
- Conduct site inspections and audits, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions to mitigate risks.
- Manage resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, particularly within the water or utilities sector.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, with hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, particularly within the water industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
