Assembly Fabricator

£26-27k  + overtime

Maidstone- drivers with own transport only

Monday – Thursday 8am – 5.30pm, Friday 8am-4.30pm

My client is looking for a hands-on individual, who has experience working with handtools, powertools, or saws, to join their team in the workshop as a Fabricator. Specific training will be provided, but a good understanding of these tools is essential.

Duties include:

  • Following specific blueprints, schematics, and assemblyinstructions to fabricateproducts.
  • Liaising with the other departments regarding productdesign and specifications to ensure the products are precise and meet customer needs.
  • Ensuring all jobs are completed by the scheduled time.
  • Using a variety of hand tools and machinery to produce finished products.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Any other duties required.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • The ability to use hand/power tools gained through working experience
  • A meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong communicationskills
  • The ability to read technical drawings
  • A good level of physical fitness
