Our Mid Kent based client, a leading international based business, are recruiting a Group Reporting Accountant to join them on a full time and permanent basis.
Description
Responsibilities for the Group Reporting Analyst include:
- Manage intercompany processes, ensuring approvals, resolving queries and variances.
- Be the primary contact for intercompany recharges across entities in UK and Europe.
- Prepare data and journals for lease accounting across UK and Irish entities.
- Maintain and reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare statutory account workings for inclusion in external financial statements.
- Liaise with external auditors where required.
- Support the Senior Analyst with all leasing items.
- Handle interest calculations on intercompany loans.
- Main point of contact for all group intercompany recharges.
- Oversee accounts for UK holding companies and align financial reporting with stakeholders.
Profile
The successful Group Reporting Analyst will have/be:
- Formally qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA).
- Strong skills in data analysis and reporting.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of lease accounting under IFRS and US GAAP, is advantageous.
- Proven experience managing intercompany processes in multi-entity, multi-country groups.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
- 1st stepper from Practice will be considered.
