Customs Coordinator:

Salary: £28,000- £33,000 DOE

Maidstone

Monday- Friday 9am- 6pm. NO WEEKENDS!

We are currently seeking an experienced Customs Coordinator to join a leading company within their industry. We a looking for candidates who enjoy multi-tasking, and someone who has great attention to detail. Are you looking to work for a company who pride them self on being a great place to work? This opportunity allows you to be involved with some exciting projects and work towards the companies goals they are looking to achieve!

Duties:

  • Handle export customs declarations in strict compliance with UK and international regulations, including Export Declarations, T1's and T2's
  • Prepare and print essential export documents such as: CMRs, DGNs, CPC and ADR information
  • Ensure all shipping documentation is accurate and complete; including invoices, packing lists and certificates of origin
  • Guarantee all shipments adhere to applicable customs laws, tariffs and trade agreement
  • Liaise with freight forwarders and customs authorities to resolve queries
  • Monitor and manage export documentation, ensuring timely submission to HMRC
  • Provide expert advice to clients on customs procedures
  • Keeping up to date with customer legislation's

Requirements:

  • Experience working within Road Freight
  • Experience in using CDS and CHIEF
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
