Job Overview:We are looking for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist with a focus on mental health to join the team at Medway Maritime Hospital. The role involves providing care to individuals in crisis, aiding their recovery, and promoting independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized occupational therapy assessments and interventions for mental health patients.
  • Collaborate with the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment (CRHT) team and mental health ward staff.
  • Create and implement individualized care plans to support recovery.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using the RiO system.
  • Facilitate self-management and independence through therapeutic activities.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions and service development initiatives.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience and knowledge of mental health services.
  • A full driver's license with business insurance and access to a car.
  • Proficiency in using the RiO system.
  • Experience in Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment (CRHT) and/or mental health ward settings.
