The role is term time only and you will be required to work alongside the Speech and Language Therapist, OT, and a multidisciplinary team; a service, which offers a range of therapies for young people with social, emotional, and mental health illness. Occupational therapy assessments are made available to support service users to build a brighter future. The successful Therapy Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Speech and Language Therapist at the school to ensure students are receiving the best education and support. The school believes in a holistic approach to education, and you will be expected to follow the school’s ethos. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role and should have a good understanding of working with students that have speech and language difficulties.
