We work with many schools across Maidstone and would love to find you your next education-based role!Cover Supervisor Key Responsibilities: As a Cover Supervisor, you will be supervising classes during the short-term absence of a teacher. You will ensure that students complete the work set for them in an orderly and productive environment. Managing classroom behaviour effectively and promoting a positive learning atmosphere are crucial elements of this role, ensuring that students remain on task and adhere to school policies.Your duties will include distributing and explaining work assigned by the teacher, monitoring student progress, and addressing any questions related to the instructions. You must be able to maintain control of the classroom and offer support to students as needed. Additionally, you will provide feedback to the absent teacher regarding student performance and any issues encountered during the lesson.You will also assist with other administrative or supervisory tasks within the school as needed, such as monitoring break and lunch times or providing support during school events. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to build rapport with students are essential.
