About the Role

We are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Humanities teacher for an exciting new position. This is a fantastic opportunity to continue your teaching career and make a positive impact on students' learning journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in history, geography, and other humanities subjects that cater to diverse learning needs and inspire curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Design and implement a curriculum that aligns with national standards, assess student progress through regular assignments, tests, and projects, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation, mutual respect, and the exploration of diverse perspectives.
  • Monitor and support the academic, emotional, and social development of students, offering additional help and resources to those who need it.
  • Work with other teachers and staff to integrate cross-curricular themes, organise extracurricular activities and contribute to whole-school initiatives.
  • Participate in training, workshops, and departmental meetings to stay updated on educational best practices and enhance teaching strategies.

Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status or strong experience teaching Humanities with full responsibilities

A passion for education and working with children.
