Due to continued growth, my client based just outside Maidstone is looking for a Payroll Officer/Accounts Assistant to join their established accounts department. Reporting directly to the FD you will be responsible for processing the payroll for a growing team of staff whilst supporting the accounts team.Key responsibilities include: Validating and processing timesheets and holiday claims, setting up new starters, importing weekly pay figures to our payroll software, Calculating and processing manual payroll adjustments, assessing employees' pension contributions, preparing payroll reports and making RTI submissions to HMRC. You will also be expected to assist in all aspects of the accounts function such as purchase ledger, sales ledger, balance sheet reconciliations and credit control.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within payroll and accounts.
