My client on the outskirts of Maidstone is looking to recruit a Pumps Estimator to join their team on a permanent basis. You will have strong knowledge on below ground pumps but below and above ground pumps would be desirable. You will be looking after all the pump quotations for the business and supporting the wider team when required.
Requirements of the Pumps Estimator:
- Technical knowledge of below ground pumps
- Ability to Estimate works at high values (either on site or in office)
- Great customer service skills
- Driving licence
- Attention to detail
- Bubbly personality
- Works well under pressure
Day to day of the Pumps Estimator:
- Attending sites as and when delivering fantastic customer service to understand their needs (roughly once a month).
- Estimating planned and remedial pump works ensuring you are including mark up value to maximise profit.
- Follow up quotations on nonkey account clients to win business and build valuable relationships for returning business.
- In charge of procuring parts for the jobs and gaining secured pricing from suppliers.
- Using your technical knowledge and supporting wider teams with this.
- Working at a high volume completing multiple quotes a day and updating the system.
- Working well in a team to meet business needs and supporting your team with their workload as and when required.
