Provide a full planning service across the organisation, including early-stage appraisals, planning application submissions, and monitoring of s106 conditions. Collaborate with the Land and New Business Teams to offer planning advice and support in advancing new land-led, partnership-led, or portfolio opportunities.

Client Details

Our client is a land-focused house builder located in the South East, specialising in creating new homes and communities through partnerships with housing associations, landowners, and fund managers to deliver residential developments.

Description

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Undertake site assessments, detailed examination of planning histories, policy analysis, interpretation and consideration of material considerations relating to immediate and strategic sites.
  • Support the team with the preparation and project management of different types of planning applications including Outline, Detailed/Full and Reserved Matters, including the discharge of planning conditions and amendment applications.
  • Support the team with the briefing and appointment of external consultants, and assistance with LPA engagement at pre, during and post application stage.
  • Prepare Planning Statements, Statements of Community Involvement, and other Planning related documents as required to support applications.

Profile

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Minimum of 3 years Planning experience, ideally including both private and public sector experience
  • MRTPI
  • Detailed understanding of the planning process
  • Excellent relationships management skills
