Planning Manager - Southeast UK

Are you an experienced Planning Manager looking to make an impact within a growing and ambitious company? They are on an exciting growth journey, specialising in the development of new homes and communities across the Southeast, working in partnership with housing associations, landowners, and fund managers. This is your chance to lead the planning process for a wide range of projects in a supportive and collaborative environment.

About the Role:

As Planning Manager, you will provide a comprehensive planning service across multiple companies within the group. Your responsibilities will include conducting site assessments, preparing and submitting planning applications, monitoring s106 agreements, and ensuring planning condition compliance. You'll also support the Land & Planning team by managing the end-to-end planning process, including amendments and discharge of conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver a full and comprehensive planning service across the group.

- Conduct detailed site assessments and reviews of planning histories.

- Manage the preparation and submission of planning applications, including s106 agreements and condition discharge.

- Collaborate with the Land & Planning team to manage planning processes from start to finish.

Qualifications:

- MRTPI status, or working towards it, is highly desirable.

- A degree in planning or a related property field is advantageous.

Required Skills:

- Strong understanding of the UK planning system and procedures.

- Excellent IT, organisational, and project management skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in both public and private sector planning environments is a plus.
