KS2 Teacher - Strood

Full-time - MPS-UPS - January 2025

Tradewind are recruiting for an experienced KS2 Teacher for a Primary School in Strood to start in January. This will be on a full-time basis and will be on a temp-to-perm basis. Interviews will also commence ASAP. Both ECTs and experienced teachers alike are welcome to apply.

The school is a single-form school in Margate, accessible via public transport and has on site parking. The school is also graded GOOD by Ofsted and highlighted the high expectations leaders have for the children and how this has enabled their Early Years and Key Stage 1 provision to be very strong. It also found that the school is improving relationships with parents to foster strong engagement with the family set up to increase attainment

The Role

  • Planning and delivering the Primary Curriculum in KS2
  • Responsibility for ensuring your cohort is supported, and challenged appropriately with the work set.
  • Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively
  • Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students

Requirements

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
  • Experience teaching the UK Primary Curriculum and times as a KS2 Teacher would be highly desirable but not essential.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
  • Have right to work in the UK
