Kingdom People Kent is excited to be working with one of our clients in their search for a dedicated Assistant Production Manager. This key role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth running of production processes, including the operation of essential equipment such as presses, bottling lines, pasteurisers, and labelling lines. Our client is committed to delivering high-quality products while adhering to SALSA standards. The successful candidate will not only oversee day-to-day production but also play a crucial part in the management team, ensuring that operational excellence is maintained.

  • Operate and maintain production equipment including juice press, bottling line, pasteuriser, and labelling line.
  • Oversee and supervise production operatives, ensuring efficiency and quality in their work.
  • Organise rotas and work plans to ensure adequate staffing for all production needs.
  • Collaborate with the management team to plan production schedules.
  • Adhere to SALSA standards and maintain accurate production records.
  • Ensure that maintenance and cleaning schedules are strictly followed.
  • Work alongside the wider farm and shop team to effectively represent the company to both customers and suppliers.
  • Ideally possesses forklift (industrial masted) qualifications.
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and a willingness to collaborate in a team environment.
  • Committed to maintaining the quality and reputation of our products.
  • Previous experience in production management or a similar role would be beneficial.
