Premier Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading company in the water industry, based in Maidstone. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of water-related infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet quality, budgetary, and timeline expectations.

The Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience managing projects in the water industry, including wastewater or clean water infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of water industry regulations and standards
  • Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management
  • Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites

The Project Manager role will involve:
  • Managing all aspects of water industry projects, from initiation to completion
  • Preparing project plans, budgets, and schedules, and ensuring they are adhered to
  • Coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver projects effectively
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and environmental requirements
