About the company:
My client is a leading provider of water infrastructure solutions, working with major utility companies across the UK who are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team with prior water sector experience. 聽
The ideal candidate will have some water sector exposure ,ideally dealing, managing and project managing projects that involve site based engineers for civil or M&E working on either water treatment, waste water treatment, sewers or clean water networks.
Role Overview:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of clean water network projects. You will oversee project teams, liaise with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and health & safety standards.
Note this role would suit an assistant Project Manager looking to step up in responsibility or an experience project manger 聽to grow and develop with a growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
路Lead and manage clean water network projects from inception to completion.
路Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
路Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project alignment.
路Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental policies, and health & safety requirements.
路Manage risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.
路Drive continuous improvement and innovation within clean water operations.
路Provide leadership to project teams, ensuring clear communication and efficient work flows.
Key Requirements:
路Proven experience in managing clean water network projects in the UK.
路Strong knowledge of water industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
路Experience working with major UK water utility companies or contractors.
路Project management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, or equivalent) are desirable.
路Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
路Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to project challenges.
路Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
