• An opportunity has opened up for a Buyer to join the UK buying/Procurement team.

The role:

• As Buyer you will work within a specific product area for a global supplier, managing a portfolio of market leading brands.
• Support wider buying team, contributing to all internal projects within the procurement team.
• Managing all supplier relationships and meetings with customers
• Responsible for pricing, lead times and costing for new product launches
• Utilise all internal data to build reports, manage internal ERP systems
• Ensure all timely supply of goods and liaise with overseas suppliers

The successful candidate:

• Have previous experience in buying, procurement or supply chain ideally in an FMCG business.
• You may currently be operating as a Junior Buyer, Buying Assistant, Buyer or a Supply Chain Analyst and looking to progress your career in a global business that can offer career development.
• Experience in a branded, product led FMCG business would be preferable.
• Strong mix of analytical skills, comfortable using excel and internal systems.
• Will need to be a clear communicator with confidence to communicate well internally & externally
• Must be ambitious, keen to learn and develop your career in a fast-paced business
