Your new companyA Globally Renowned Organisation is looking to recruit a Category Buyer (fixed term contract with **potential to convert) to join their vibrant and fast-paced business. This is not your typical Category Buyer role. This is an incredibly exciting role that requires creative thinking, working with some of the best people in the industry!**There are current permanent employees who initially joined as on a FTC and were converted!Your new role
- Category Buyer role taking full end-to-end ownership of category strategies, spend analysis
- RFI, RFQ, RFP
- Supplier sourcing, negotiations and relationship and risk management
- Stakeholder engagement
What you'll need to succeed
- 5 years' Procurement experience with commercial acumen
- Strong communication, negotiation and engagement skills
- Proactive identifying cost savings, process improvements / any business concerns
- People person, ability to build relationships - culture fit it very important!
