New Quantity Surveyor position in Maidstone, Kent. My client, an award winning carpentry subcontractor are looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their team, reporting into the Commercial Manager.
The role:
Reporting into a Commercial Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of 2 - 3 live sites with major contractors within the M25. Your role will involve but not be limited to:
- Reviewing programme of works
- Monthly progress meetings with the client
- Attend site visits to track progress
- Valuation of completed works and negotiating payments
- CVR's on a monthly basis
- Cost control and reporting
- Looking after packages ranging from £1M - £12M
About you:
- Previous recent experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- A background/knowledge of carpentry is strongly favorable
- Qualified in a related field to HNC or above standard
- Experience working on schemes of a similar value would be preferable, but not essential
