About:My client is a leading Facades company headquartered in Basildon, boasting a £50,000,000 turnover and a robust order book through to the end of next year. Specialising in large-scale rainscreen cladding and facade projects, they deliver innovative, high-quality solutions for major developments across the UK.

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 5 years of experience in facades to join the dynamic team and oversee an exciting project valued at £35,000,000—a joint venture at the University of Sussex. This involves managing 22 high-rise rainscreen cladding installations.

The Role:

• Location Split:
  • On-site in Brighton: 3 days per week.
  • Office-based in Basildon: 2 days per week.
• Responsibilities:
  • Full commercial management of the University of Sussex project.
  • Cost planning, procurement, and subcontractor management.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring profitability.
  • Managing project budgets and preparing regular financial reports.
  • Liaising with site teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.

About You:We’re looking for a confident, proactive QS with a proven background in facades. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to effectively manage large-scale projects while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
