A great opportunity for an experienced Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to join this Tier 1 Main Contractor with their new 60m project.

About the role of Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor

In this role you will be working with a leading M&E Contractor, working on a 60m project on Maidstone area. You will be the M&E lead working on a modular build.

Responsibilities for Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor

  • Feasibility, Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project.
  • Preparing contracts, budgets & bills of quantities.
  • Liaising with clients & contractors to ensure the budget requirements are met.
  • Managing cashflow for large MEP packages throughout delivery.
  • Compiling and issuing commercial reports to the project leadership team for CVR's
  • Preparing forecasts and reports on financial status and cash flow.
  • Ensuring that the month on month cash position is positive and the forecasted project margin is met or exceeded.

Requirements for Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor

  • Experience with commercially managing high value M&E projects.
  • Experience with hospitals, laboratories and residential projects.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office, Excel skills being a must.
  • Experience of M&E Quantity Surveying and financial knowledge of construction costs.
  • An understanding of NEC contracts
