We are currently seeking a Trainee / Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic Kent-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and driven individual to begin or further their career in quantity surveying within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities of this role will include:

Assisting in the preparation of accurate cost estimates, tenders, and contract documents.
Supporting the management of project budgets and cost control.
Assisting in the analysis of subcontractor quotations and procurement.
Monitoring project progress, preparing valuations, and managing variations.
Working collaboratively with the project teams to ensure financial and commercial success.
Learning and applying industry-specific knowledge, with full support from our experienced team.

The ideal applicant will possess;

Qualifications: Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience: We welcome applicants who are newly graduated or have at least one year of relevant experience. A background in roofing is beneficial, construction-related experience is essential.
Skills: Excellent communication and numeracy skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team. A proactive approach to problem-solving is essential.
