Finance Assistant
9-5.30pm
To monitor, record and provide accurate financial information and supporting documentation relatingto the following areas covering:
* Sales Invoicing* Sales Debtors* Expenses* Purchase Ledger (Please note that this aspect will be a shared responsibility with another /existing finance manager whose primary role is focused on purchase ledger).* Company Credit Cards* New Supplier onboarding - Assistance with financial aspects of the onboarding process.
The position is based on full time, located in our Maidstone office.
Key attributes:
* Bookkeeping experience* Great interpersonal and communications skills* Self-discipline and highly organised.* Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.* Good mathematical skills* Good team worker* Understanding of CIS and Reverse VAT for construction* The ability to work to monthly deadlines.* Able to work to agreed timelines.* Good knowledge of Sage and Excel as well as a good working knowledge of commercialmanagement systems* Has an enthusiastic personality and is prepared to grow the role and their contribution to thebusiness.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Ideally at least 2 years' experience in a similar role.* Good IT knowledge.* Experienced in Microsoft excel, word.* Experienced in Eque2 cost management system (Training can / will be provided)* Experienced in Sage accounting systems.
