Experienced Cover Supervisors – Maidstone Secondary Schools

Required to Start ASAP – Full Time, Part Time, Long-Term or Short-Term Contracts

Due to our strong relationships with these schools, we are now recruiting experienced Cover Supervisors with excellent classroom management skills and a proven ability to engage students of varying abilities and from diverse backgrounds across key stages.

About the Role: We are seeking Cover Supervisors who bring a calm, inclusive approach to supporting students' learning. You will ideally have experience teaching in a range of secondary schools and supporting students with a variety of educational needs. If you can confidently manage classrooms, engage and motivate students, and maintain a productive learning environment, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lessons across all key stages using pre-prepared plans, ensuring students stay on task.
  • Engage and motivate students of diverse abilities and backgrounds in the learning process.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a calm and respectful learning atmosphere.
  • Promote a safe and supportive learning environment, ensuring student safety at all times.
  • Accurately report and document any incidents, issues, or concerns in line with school policies.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor across secondary key stages is essential.
  • Exceptional classroom management skills with the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Ability to adapt to different subjects and age groups, delivering lessons confidently and effectively.
  • Proven ability to support students of varying abilities and from diverse backgrounds.
  • Must have the Right to Work in the UK.
  • Must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to process one.
  • Ability to provide a minimum of two references covering the last two years of employment.
