Role - English Teacher
Location - Maidstone
Start Date - January - July 2025 - Full Time
Salary - £31,650 - £49,084 depending on experience
Tradewind Recruitment are actively working with a good secondary school in the Maidstone area who are looking for a motivated and passionate English Teacher. The role is teaching across KS3 and KS4 so someone with suitable experience in these areas is essential.
The role:
- Plan and deliver creative English lessons across KS3 and KS4 year groups
- Monitor and assess student progress and provide relevant support where needed
- Attend both departmental meetings and parents' evenings when required
- Liaise and work closely with others in the English Department to ensure consistency
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience as an English Teacher across KS3 and KS4 year groups
- Excellent behaviour management skills to ensure students achieve the best outcomes in each lesson
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
