About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher who wants to deliver high-quality English lessons to children across a range of ages and abilities, fostering a love for literature, language and creative writing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that meet the curriculum and individual student needs.
  • Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and enhances learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning styles and abilities, including SEN students.
  • Prepare students for exams, including GCSEs and other relevant qualifications.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and improve teaching practices.
  • Utilise technology and creative resources to enhance learning experiences.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS) preferred.
