Are you an experienced Mathematics teacher based near Maidstone, eager for flexible supply work? We are seeking a confident and engaging Mathematics teacher with a firm but fair approach, available for flexible supply contracts and keen to cover all secondary key stages.
The Role:
This highly regarded school is looking for a dedicated and well-qualified Mathematics teacher with strong subject knowledge who is confident teaching across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering engaging lessons, inspiring students to develop a love for Mathematics, and will foster a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and dynamic Mathematics lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5, tailored to meet the needs of students with a range of abilities.
- Inspire and motivate students, building their confidence in Maths and supporting them in reaching their full potential.
- Implement a firm but fair approach to classroom management, maintaining high standards of behaviour.
- Work collaboratively with other staff to contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Be open to taking part in extra-curricular activities and supporting the broader school community.
- Stay committed to ongoing professional development to continuously enhance your teaching practice.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Specialism in Mathematics
- Recent references from employers within the education sector
- Ability to confidently cover all secondary key stages
