Role and Responsibilities for the Religious Studies position:

  • You will have a proven track record of teaching Religious Studies at the secondary level, with a deep understanding of diverse religious and philosophical perspectives.
  • You will be comfortable teaching at KS3, KS4 and KS5 and adapting teaching styles appropriately.
  • You will have the ability to design and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with national standards and cater to various learning styles.
  • You will be skilled in fostering a positive learning environment that promotes critical thinking, ethical reasoning, and respectful dialogue among students.
  • You will be proficient in assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and implementing strategies to support academic growth.
  • You will be committed to building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, and contributing to the school community through extracurricular activities and school events.
