Supply Desk are currently seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher for a large co-educational secondary school in Maidstone, known for its excellent reputation and commitment to high academic standards. The role involves teaching biology, chemistry, and physics across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. There is also potential for the ideal candidate to take on additional responsibilities within the department.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons in biology, chemistry, and physics across KS3-5.
  • Adapt lessons to meet the needs of diverse student abilities.
  • Implement confident and positive classroom management strategies.
  • Use Assessment for Learning (AfL) to monitor and support student progress.
  • Be open to taking on additional responsibilities within the science department.
  • Have experience teaching KS3/4 Science, with a desire to teach KS5 as well.
  • Be an ECT or experienced teacher with a passion for science education.
