Science Teacher Key Responsibilities:

As a Secondary Science Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality science lessons that inspire and engage students from KS3 to KS4. Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering dynamic and engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with SEN.
Assessing and evaluating student progress through both formative and summative assessments.
Preparing students for exams, ensuring they reach their full potential.
Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative schemes of work and share best practices.
Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a safe and productive learning environment.
Supporting extracurricular activities, such as science clubs or field trips, to enrich students' learning experiences.
Building strong relationships with students, parents, and staff to foster a positive school community.
Continuously engaging in professional development to keep up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and science advancements.
