  • Salary Range: £35,125 to £51,758 Full-time equivalent (inclusive of London Weighting), dependent upon experience

Join our highly selective catholic sixth form, which specialises in A Level education for young people aged 16-19. We offer a challenging and diverse 'Super-Curriculum’ across more than 20 A Level subjects. In 2023, the Sixth Form was rated Good with Outstanding features by Ofsted. Our students are talented, motivated, and academically able young people with highly ambitious university and career aspirations.

Due to an increase in students choosing to study A Level Economics, we are now seeking an exceptional part-time A-Level practitioner to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator who is passionate about teaching economics to young adults.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver outstanding teaching and learning in A Level Economics, ensuring that all lessons are engaging and high in quality.
  • Stretch and challenge students to reach their full potential, preparing them for success in their future academic and career endeavors.
  • Assess, monitor, and record the progress of students, providing timely feedback to encourage and motivate learners.
  • Contribute to the development of teaching materials and curriculum planning within the department.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and discipline.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in teaching A Level Economics or a related subject.
  • A strong academic background in Economics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate young adults.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • A teaching qualification is preferred but not essential, depending on experience.
