Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a creative Teacher of English for a full-time position at a secondary school in Maidstone, starting in September 2025 and continuing until July 2026.
The salary for this role ranges from MPS1 to UPS3, depending on the applicant's experience.
Candidates must hold QTS status or an equivalent teaching qualification and have experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 levels.
The ideal candidate will possess strong subject knowledge, a passion for teaching English, and the ability to inspire students to reach their full potential.
Applicants should also be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and have legal right to work in the UK.

Role - Teacher of English

Location - Maidstone

Start Date - September 2025 - full time

Salary - MPS1- UPS3 depending on experience

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a creative Teacher of English to work at a popular secondary school in the Maidstone area. The role is to start in September and will be until the end of the academic year - July 2026!

The role:

To plan and deliver engaging and creative English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and enrich the educational experiences of the students
Spark curiosity and critical thinking through the exploration of English literature and language

Requirements:

Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English
Have experience as a Teacher of English across KS3 and KS4
Have the ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential
Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
