Tradewind Recruitment are actively searching for an enthusiastic Teacher of History for an Ofsted graded 'Good' school in the Thanet area. The role is a September start and will be until the end of the academic year - July 2026! The role will be full time with a salary of between £31,650 and £49,084 depending on experience.

The role:

  • Create and deliver lesson plans across KS3 and KS4 ensuring all abilities and needs are met
  • Foster a deep appreciation for History and its relevance to the modern world
  • Track and monitor progress to ensure all students reach their full potential
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues within the History Department and across the wider school

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Teacher of History across KS3 and KS4
  • Excellent behaviour management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
